The stories of Laura and John are structured around a research. Laura and John use their magical powers to help researchers from different scientific fields. The stories aim of publicizing the research institutions in Catalonia, disclose their social function, and promote interest in science among children.
Ersilia Foundation has developed interactive activities for 16 stories. These activities allow primary school students to understand clearly and simply the scientific method and its application to various disciplines. The activities tackle primary school competences as reading comprehension, information management, digital competence, and the acquisition of interrelated values and attitudes such as responsibility, perseverance, empathy and care for the environment and the protection of individual health.
